Robert Ramer is a 2008 RHP/SS with a 6'2'', 160 lb. frame from Sunnyvale CA, who attends Fremont HS. He has a rangy, lanky build, with long legs on a projectable frame. Ramer's body composition appears to be loose and flexible, suggesting that he can continue to gain arm speed as he gets stronger. He has an over the top slot and a loose arm that gets out to decent frontside extension. Ramer has a good delivery and should make steady, incremental strides in the coming years. His fastball topped at 79 and sat in the 74-77 range, so he needs to either develop more arm speed or arm strength. His curveball is big and slow, with some rolling depth. He is a distant follow for the D1 level, but has a chance.
