Carnahan is a 6'1" 165 pound 2006 left handed pitcher from Alta Loma, California who attends Damien High School. He has an average frame and an athletic build with slightly sloped shoulders. He has some room to fill out. Cory has some good run on his fastball like a typical lefty. He has a short arm and resembles Terry Mullholland with his mechanics. He has very good command and good extension. Carnahan has a big sharp breaking curveball that he can throw for strikes. He is a very craft lefthander who can get outs. His fastball tops out at 73 mph and his curveball tops out at 56 mph. Cory is also a very good student with a 3.95 gpa and a 1730 on his SAT.
