Ryan Behmanesh is a 2008 3B/P with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Summit High School. Ryan has a athletic build and has present strength througout. He looks very athletic on the field, and has good actions on both sides of the ball. He is a good defensive player with range, good footwork, good hands, and a strong arm. His top velocity across the infield was 84 mph. He is a smooth fielder at third base, and looks confident and relaxed on the hot corner. He hits from a compact, low crouched stance with a high hand set and is an aggressive hitter early in the count. He flashes pop and has power potential, but will get long at times. He took a very good batting practice session, with lots of line drives from gap to gap. He pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with arm speed and good tempo, and topped out at 85 on his fastball. His mechanics are a little raw, and with work could turn into a very solid pitcher. He showed good run on his slider, and a good demeanor on the mound.
