Clint Evans is a 2007 LHP/1B with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA, who attends Steele Canyon HS. Large frame with long arms, and broad shoulders. On the mound he is a left handed pitcher with a higher leg kick and slight upper body turn. Evans gets solid run on his fastball that topped out at 78 mph while working in the 76-78 mph range. He also mixes in a 61 mph curveball with depth. Evans does a good job throwing strikes on the first pitch getting ahead of hitters. Offensively he is a left handed hitter who hits from a straight away and wide stance with a good approach. Evans looks comfortable in the box and takes a good, aggressive swing. He shows occasional power with decent bat speed, Evans is also a very good student.

Clint Evans is a 2007 LHP/1B from Steele Canyon HS in El Cajon, CA, with a 6'0", 195 lb. frame. Evans throw from a 3/4 arm slot with a slow and controlled delivery. He gets movement on his fastball that topped out at 72 mph, and he mixed in a 57 mph breaking ball. Evans has good control of both pitches, and he allowed only one hit in his two innings of work while striking out one. He is a strong and aggressive hitter with a solid build. Defensively he shows good agility and some first step quickness on contact. Evans has sure and confident hands in the field and was able to make it look easy. At the plate, Evans is able to hit pitches throughout the strike zone with some authority. He showed the ability to get on top of pitches up in the zone. Evans has upside with his bat and ability to project more strength to hit in the middle of the line up at the next level. He is also a very good student.
