Clayton Pisani is a lean athletic 6'1/175 MIF from Naples, FL. Pisani’s tools are solid big league average minus power across the board and his skills are very polished as well. He hasn’t had much recognition yet but he’s one of the top shortstop prospects in the 2005 class. At Tropicana Field he ran a laser timed 6.85. threw 84 across the inf, showed very nice hands, quick release and outstanding actions. He runs the bases even better than his running times because of very good instincts and first step quickness. He can hit, nice contact line drive swing. He really battles at the plate. We did not see pro level HR power in his swing but he is going to hit the gaps hard. He's a highest level player with a potential pro future. Clayton is an outstanding student.

05 INF with a good arm and a lot of upside. Projects very well. Runs well and can hit! Nice short swing with quiet hands. Flashed some good power potential. Has a chance to develop into a big time prospect. Looks like he's going to be a very good player!
