At the plate is where he really stands out. He is very strong and shows easy power. He has big juice in his bat and shows serious bat speed. He squares the ball up and it jumps off his bat in a hurry. He can really hit with anyone in the 2009 class and he even runs fairly well for a big power guy. He is also a good student.

Like better as power hitting OF'er, very good bat speed, power to all fields, aggressive hitter, balanced approach, good speed/agility for size, strong OF arm. Big bat on a strong athlete. Good student. He was named to the top prospect team at this event.

Zachary Lowery is a 2009 OF/P with a 6'3'', 205 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. Very nice athletic body, good size/strength. Very nice swing, next level bat speed, power potential, ball jumps, projects power. 7.18 runner, very good on the bases. Clean OF actions defensively, big arm strength. Also 83 mph off the mound. Has all the tools. Very good prospect.
