Ray Bokelman is a 2008 OF/1B with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Chino, CA who attends Don Lugo HS. He has a broad shouldered build with very good present strength. Bokelman is a good runner for his size, running 7.24 on a slow track and showing good range in the outfield. He has sound outfield fundamentals and made nice on line, accurate throws. Offensively, Bokelman hits from a straight stance with an early commitment to the ball. He gets to his front side well and gets his strong hips into his swing. His swing is quick and level and the ball comes off his bat well. Bokelman shows good offensive potential and should continue to develop as he gets more repetitions.
