Christopher Maula is a 6' 185 pound 2006 outfielder and right handed pitcher from Boca Raton, Florida who has a very muscular build and a tall athletic frame. He has good balance at the plate and is very quick to the ball. He has a strong swing and good bat speed. Christopher has good gap to gap power with big time home run potential. He hits with a slightly closed stance with flexed knees and has a quiet approach. Maula also has solid arm strength throwing 79 mph from the outfield during the workout. His throws had good online carry. He has nice footwork and he glides to the ball effortlessly. He has good speed which he showed by running a 7.20 60. Christopher is a good student as well.

Christian Maula is a 2006 C/1B from Boca Raton High School in Boca Raton, Florida, with a strong 6'1'', 200 lb. frame. Defensively he has a very strong arm at 80 mph with good online carry to the second base bag. His arm strength and quick release and transfers helped produce pop times consistently under 2.00, with a best pop time of 1.92. His throws were very accurate and he will be able to control an oppositions running game. He is a very good defensive catcher. At the plate he hits from the right side and shows strength in his swing. Maula takes a short stride and stays balanced throughout his swing. He gets great leverage at contact that helps generate his raw power. Maula has good bat speed and should hit at the next level. He is also a good student that needs to be followed.
