David Castillo is a 2009 C/3B with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Pinole, CA who attends Salesian High School. He has a strong build, decent receiver, good catch and throw and is a solid all around defensive catcher. At the plate he showed bat speed, ball came off bat well, made solid barrel contact, and had a good setup in the box. He is also a very good student.
