Doug Hawkins is a 2007 C/1B with a 5'10'', 190 lb. frame from Andover, MA who attends Andover. Doug has a strong stocky body. At the plate Doug has a simple approach with a short swing that produces solid contact. He will occasionally flash signs of good raw power. Behind the plate Doug has a short arm action with a solid release. His arm strength is solid and just needs needs to get a little more flexible behind the plate. Doug is a player that may attract the attention of a few smaller colleges.
