Chris Sica is a 5'10", 160 lb. outfielder from Coral Springs, Florida, with very quick 6.86 sixty speed. With his body actions, we feel he could run in the 6.6 range on a good running surface. From the outfield he showed solid arm strength (83 mph) with a good release and solid carry on his throws. With his arm and speed, Chris should develop into a top defensive outfielder. He is a right handed hitter with an open to very closed approach that really brings his front foot and front side close to the plate. Chris has a short bat path with above average bat speed and a line drive swing plane. Chris looks like he has the ability to use the whole field. He has plenty of room to add some upper body strength and increase his bat speed. Chris is an excellent student.

Chris Sica is a 2005 outfielder from Coral Springs, FL, with some good tools for the next level. He’s a very quick 6.79 runner with more than playable arm strength for the outfield. Sica hits from a tall stance with high hands in his load, a short stride and a rotational swing. He has good hand strength and generates some good bat speed with some loft. During games, Sica hit one nice triple off the left field wall and drove another ball deep to left that was caught. He made consistent hard contact in BP as well and has good overall strength for his size. He has a chance to be very good at the next level. Chris is a very good student.

Chris is not a big player but he showed some pop and quick hands at the plate. He ran a 7.17 on a slow track and has good instincts on the bases. He'll steal bases at the next level. He is a smart player and plays the game hard. He showed a nice accurate throwing arm from the outfield. Tracks balls down in the outfield and could be an interesting player over the next couple years. Good student.
