Logan Matson is a 2008 RHP/1B/3B with a 6'4'', 200 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano West. Logan has a tall and slender athletic frame with room to go. On the mound he is sound mechanically and throws from an over the top arm slot. He has good command, and will work both sides of the plate for strikes. He had a top fastball velocity of 75 mph. Offensively he hits from an upright, slightly open stance and is a contact hitter. He battles in the box and has a good swing path. On the infield he is very fundamentally sound and has soft has and a good exchange. Matson had a top velocity across the infield of 75 mph.
