Chris Gosik is a 2009 OF/3B/SS with a 6'0'', 205 lb. frame from Thorton, PA who attends Malvern Prep. Gosik has a strong solid athletic frame and shows ability both in the infield and outfield. He has good strength in his swing and real quick hands. The ball comes off his bat well and he has good power potential. He has a well balanced swing and squared up low 90's fastballs in the games. He shows good tools and can really run, timed at 6.60 in the sixty. Chris is a player and is also a very good student.

Chris Gosik is a 2009 3B/SS/C with a 6'0'', 195 lb. frame from Thorton PA, who attends Malvern Prep. Gosik has a big frame with present strength. Defensively, Gosik has developing solid arm strength with a quick release. He has quick actions to the baseball and has nice hands. Gosik is very aggressive to the baseball and his feet work well on his approach to the ball. He plays through the ball and he has solid third baseman tools. At the plate, Gosik starts slightly open with an upright stance. He maintains good balance through his swing and has leverage at contact. He looks to lift the ball and has some power potential in there. He has quick hands to the ball and generates bat speed. He occasionally has some weight breakdown on pitches down in the zone, but overall the balance is there. Gosik runs well for a strong kid and is a very good student.
