Ryan Krasn is a 2008 OF/MIF with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV, who attends Sierra Vista HS. Krasn has a lean and projectable frame. Defensively he has good arm strength from the outfield with online carry to the bag. His throws are accurate and he should limit runners from taking an extra base. He glides to the ball, and gets good reads off the bat. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a wide base. Krasn has a quick bat with a line drive swing plane. He keeps his hands inside the ball well which allows him to hit to all fields. Krasn stays balanced through his swing, and he makes consistent contact. Once on the bases, Krasn gets good jumps and runs the bases well showing the ability to steal bases and take the extra base. There is upside to his overall game, and he is a good student as well.

Ryan Krasn is a 2008 OF/MIF with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Las Vegas NV, who attends Sierra Vista HS. He has a lean, athletic build, with some present day strength. Krasn has a couple of projectable tools, certainly for the college game and maybe someday beyond; his arm and his bat. He showed well with the bat in this event, with good bat speed and a good trigger. Krasn seemed to have good pitch recognition and hit the ball hard to all fields. His quick hands work well and he stayed inside the ball, letting it travel and hitting where pitched, with some gap power. His approach is quite good. Defensively he showed a strong arm and with his arm stroke, he is going to throw even better. He is a steady outfielder that will make his plays, though his range is average. It is conceivable that he will run a bit better in the future. He controls his body well and throws accurately, though his release can get quicker. In all, he profiles well as a corner outfielder at the D1 level. Krasn is also a good student.
