Chad Kettler is a 2009 SS/P with a 6'1'', 192 lb. frame from Coppell, TX who attends Coppell. Kettler has a strong athletic build and is one of the best infielders in the 2009 class. He has excellent arm strength and soft quick hands. He is a switch hitter and is good from both side. He has quick hands with good strength in the swing. The ball jumps off his bat when centered and he shows very good power potential. He made some great highlight type plays in the games at the Metrodome. Kettler probably profiles as a 2B or 3B in pro ball due to his weakest tool being running speed, but he might first be an all american shortstop at any college in America. He is a very good student and a top 2009 follow. He's also a very good pitcher.
