2006 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Scott Davidson is a 2007 MIF from First Colonial HS in Virginia Beach, VA with a 5'10", 175 lb. frame. Scott has an athletic build and showed good athletic ability at the showcase. At the plate Scott hits from a low crouched stance with a level swing plane. He showed good line-drive contact and the ability to spray the ball all over the field. From a power standpoint Scott will need to get stronger as he is primarily a singles type hitter right now. In the field Scott showed clean actions with a solid release and solid arm strength. Scott showed solid tools that project well for a second baseman at the showcase. He is a solid student that many smaller colleges will take notice of.
