Garrett Sechelski is a 2008 LHP/1B with a 6'2'', 221 lb. frame from Navasota, Texas, who attends Navasota High School. He has a large frame with present strength. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot with solid arm action. Sechelski has an upright delivery, and stays balanced over the rubber. He is online to the plate and finished his pitches well. His fastball topped out at 76 mph, and he mixed in a big breaking ball with a 12 to 6 break. Sechelski also throws a 68 mph changeup with sink and deception. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance. He has hand strength, and he uses his lower half well. He gets leverage at contact showing projectable power. He is a very good student as well.
