Matt Mege is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'3'', 185 lb. frame from Levittown, NY who attends MacArthur HS. Matt has a tall projectable build with room to fill out. On the mound Matt throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a compact clean delivery. Matt works the corners well and shows off a solid CH. At the plate Matt has a solid approach and makes consistent solid contact. He has good carry on his throws in the outfield and best projects in left field. Matt is a good student that could attract the attention of some smaller colleges.

Matt Mege is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Levittown NY, who attends MacArthur. Mege has a Taller body with a slender lean build. Mege pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot and uses a long arm action. He has arm speed and throws with average effort. Mege has a nice paced delivery and showed good poise in game. Mege gets armside run on his fastball and throws a hard curveball. At the plate, Mege starts with a medium width base and takes a hard stride to start his swing. He stays back well and takes his hands to the baseball well. He throws the barrel to the baseball and has bat speed. Mege has a line drive swing path and uses a contact hitter's approach. Defensively, Mege moves to the ball well in the outfield and throws with a long arm action. He throws with some effort and uses a lower release. Mege is an excellent student.
