Ryan Munch is a 2007 2B/OF/ SS with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Northwood OH, who attends Central Catholic, Toledo. Munch has a medium sized frame with a medium build. Defensively, he has a medium length arm action and has arm strength. He throws with a lower elbow and follows his throws well. He makes consistent online throws that are accurate. At the plate, Munch starts with a medium width base and uses a short load to start his swing. He takes a long hard stride and has an uppecut swing path. Munch is presently a contact type hitter and makes consistent contact. He has an uphill swing and swings around the baseball. Munch has some length to his swing with bat speed. Munch has present line drive power and will hit for more power as he learns to swing with more leverage. Munch is also an outstanding student.
