2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Sheehan is an "04" Middle infielder who can play. At 5'7/140 he's not the biggest, but don't be fooled. He runs exceptionally well especially on the bases. He has a nice arm that will get stronger as he gets bigger. Right now he projects as a 2B at the next level, but that could change. He has good actions, nice hands and feet and he made some outstanding plays at shortstop. He's a real play maker who uses his quickness and brains to create situations. He is aggressive and plays for keeps. At the plate he showed a level swing that uses the entire field. He keeps the ball down for the most part. As he gains more strength that part of his game might change, at least with the wood bat. This kid can play! Charles is a good student.
