Jeremy Schuck is a 2007 3B/1B/OF with a 6'3'', 230 lb. frame from Urbandale IA, who attends Dowling HS. He has a big frame with very good upper body strength. Schuck has a long arm stroke and low release with 72 mph arm strength and will be limited to first base at the next level on defense. Schuck hits from a spread, no stride stance with pre-loaded hands. His swing is upper body rotational and he doesn't use his hands much in his swing. Most of Schuck's contact is to the opposite field. With better swing mechanics and better hand extension, Schuck's hitting could blossom given his natural strength.
