Zeke Musselman is a 2008 RHP/1B with a 6'3'', 220 lb. frame from Ames IA, who attends Ames HS. He has a large frame with wide shoulders and could get stronger with work. Musselman has a easy delivery and a long, smooth arm action. His best pitch is a 70 mph change up that he'll use at any time in count and anywhere in the strike zone. He gets good movement on his change and very good deception. Musselman's fastball was consistent in the 76-78 mph range with some arm side run. He also threw a 66 mph curveball that flashed tight spin and bite at times. Musselman has an advanced feel for pitching and can use all three of his pitches effectively. He had no problem getting outs at the showcase and we've seen him mow through hitters at WWBA events as well. Musselman shows some raw power at the plate with a very open, pull oriented swing. He is also a good student.
