Jeremy Lopez is a 2007 middle infielder from The Beacon School in Bronx, New York, with a lean and athletic 5'8"/155 pound frame. Jeremy has soft hands in the infield with smooth and athletic actions defensively. He also showed above average arm strength at 89 mph across the diamond. At the plate, Lopez hits from a slight open stance with a short stride and high hands. He is a line drive hitter that uses the whole field. Jeremy went on the mound for the first time in six months and threw 88 mph with a tailing fastball. He is a potential two-way prospect and a good 2007 follow. Lopez is also a solid student.
