Bryan White is a 2009 LHP/1B/OF from Wheelerseburg High School in Wheelersburg, OH, with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame. He is a well built player for his age with a durable body and present strength. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with solid arm action. He stays balanced over the rubber and throws slightly across his body. His fastball topped out at 64 mph with arm side life in on the hands of left handed hitters. He opens his hips early causing his arm to drag and he loses some velocity. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a wide base and uses a knee lift trigger. White shows bat speed with good hitting mechanics. He stays balanced through his swing and gets leverage at contact that should produce more power in the future. He makes solid contact and shows good hand strength as well. White is a young player with upside, and is a very good student as well.
