Casey Talbot is a 2006 outfielder from Medina, Washington, with an average frame and build. He has good physical projection. Talbot hits from an average base with some gather to his approach, and above average bat speed, and the ball jumps off his bat in a hurry. He has a good line drive approach, and is able to use all fields well. Talbot has some arm strength from the outfield, and has good balance and fielding techniques to play the position. Talbot projects to be an early line up type hitter with plus pitch recognition, and he can center the ball well. He runs well and shows excellent baseball instincts. Talbot has another year to go, and should develop into a quality player that will spark a lot of interest at the next level. Casey is a good student.
