Andrew Nimmo is a 2007 LHP/1B with a 5'11'', 190 lb. frame from Allendale NJ, who attends Northern Highlands HS. He has a thick build with some present strength. Nimmo has a low effort delivery with an easy, smooth arm action. His bread and butter pitch is his 67 mph curveball, which had a big, hard break to it and was especially tough on left handed hitters. Nimmo's 74 mph change up was also a quality pitch, with very good arm speed. His fastball had plenty of late life at 77-81 mph and he spotted all his pitches well. Nimmo was primarily an off speed pitcher but his fastball life and his ability to spot it made it effective. Nimmo also showed some ability with the bat, with a short line drive swing and good bat head skills that resulted in consistent hard line drive contact. He is also a good student.
