Hugh Henry is a 2007 RHP with a 6'2'', 193 lb. frame from Mt Vernon, NY who attends Mt Vernon. He has an athletic look to him and some physical maturity. Henry has a loose, multi-part delivery and along arm action. His delivery lacks deception at present and he would benefit from simplifying it and making it more compact. Henry's fastball was 84-87 mph and was pretty straight. His best pitch was a 68 mph curveball that had good spin and downer break but needs more power. Henry has shown us power stuff with some projection in the past. Some adjustments to his delivery could solve this and unleash his potential.

Hugh Henry is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame from Mt Vernon, NY who attends Mt Vernon HS. Hugh has a well-developed athletic build. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean loose arm action from a long arm circle. Hugh gets a nice downward plane on his pitches with a balanced delivery. He is a low effort pitcher that has a good feel for four pitches. All of his off-speed pitches have good life and he is able to locate very well inside and outside. Hugh is very polished on the mound and projects very well. He will be a player that attracts the attention of many highest-level college programs.
