Kevin Peters is a 2008 MIF/OF with a 5'11'', 160 lb. frame from Danville, CA, who attends De La Salle HS. Peters has a lean and athletic frame. He is a solid all-around player that does everything well. Defensively he has plus actions with soft hands and nice footwork. He looks very smooth fielding and he makes it look easy. Peters also has a quick release with a strong and accurate arm. He is an advanced defender that would be an asset to any team. At the plate he hits from a narrow base and takes a short stride. He has a short and compact stroke, and he stays inside the ball well showing the ability to hit the ball to all fields. Peters has bat speed and he makes consistent line drive contact. He has on base skills, bat control, and speed that should make him a top of the order hitter. Peters is a good player with upside. He is a good student as well.

Kevin Peters is a 2008 switch-hitting middle infielder from De La Salle HS, residing in Danville, CA. He has a 5'9" 140 lb. frame and a wiry, athletic body that is still physically maturing. Peters is a sound ballplayer who plays hard and understands the game. He is the type that will maximize his abilities and bring a hard nosed attitude to a team. Offensively he displayed a short, compact swing from both sides of the plate. He is a bit more aggressive from the left side with a little more bat speed from the right. Peters is a contact hitter and competes well each and every at-bat. He has the approach and tenacity that could well in the two-hole if he continues to develop as the same type of player he is now. Defensively he brings the same type of attributes as he does at the plate, he is a gamer and competes well. He has some arm strength, a quick release and good hands. Peters is an adept play-maker, particularly so at 2nd base. Not the most physically outstanding player, Peters is a college baseball prospect and would be an asset to most programs.

Kevin Peters is a 2008 SS/2B from De La Salle HS, residing in Danville, CA, with a 5'8" 140 lb. frame. He has an average build on a small frame. In the box, Peters showed that he can hit a bit. He competed well in game situations and sprayed line drives. He has a quick bat from the right side. A wristy hitter, Peters stayed short to the ball and used all fields from left side. His LH and RH swings were pretty similar. He is a contact hitter. On defense, Peters' arm has some quickness. His hands and feet worked well and helped him achieve a quick release. He showed solid actions. Peters throws the ball with some carry and he has a pretty good arm. This is a "ballplayer" type of player. Follow prospect for small-medium size college programs.
