Jimmy Bosco is a 2009 OF with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Granite Bay, CA who attends Jesuit HS. Bosco has an strong athletic build and is a very good in the outfield who can run and throw. He has smooth outfield actions and gets great jumps on balls. He also shows arm strength from the outfield. He is a very good fastball hitter and has good strength in his swing. He has a smooth polished swing and attacks the ball showing good raw power. He has serious controlled bat speed and projects well at the plate. Bosco is a very good student and has made a verbal commitment to California.

Jimmy Bosco is a 2009 OF/3B with a 5'10'', 170 lb. frame from Granite Bay, CA who attends Jesuit HS (Sacramento). He has a compact, athletic body type and plays the game with a high level of energy. Bosco is the type of player that plays much larger than his size and has the ability to impact the game with his speed, hitting, and defense on any given day. He is a top of the order hitter with a quick bat and a line drive swing. There is some pop to the pull side on occasion and he can handle a good fastball. Bosco gets out of box well and can pressure the defense, both down the line and with aggressive turns around the bag. He is a 'pest' in a very positive sense and is the type of player that thrives in the college game. Defensively he gets good jumps and has a strong arm. His tools and insincts will allow him to play centerfield everyday at the D1 level and offensively he is an top of the order impact player.
