Lescanec has a strong, mature 5-11, 205 body. His arm strength is close to big league average, but Lescanec showed us the ability to throw just as well in games, if not better, which is always nice to see on a young catcher. He’ll have to work on softening his hands for receiving at the next level. Offensively, Lescanec has a nice compact line drive swing that takes advantage of his strength well. We especially liked how calm his hands and lower body were at the plate. He's a good strong catcher who can throw and hit. He even runs well for a big strong catcher. Bryan is a good student.
