Ary is a good looking first baseman that competed within a group of strong corner infielders in Waco. He is a strong-bodied athlete that showed particularly well with the bat. He runs well for a first baseman posting a 7.28 time in the 60 and he threw well showing some arm strength. With the bat, he showed a good short swing, a straight path to the ball and hit the ball out in front of the plate. He has some power potential and made adjustments versus live pitching. He even got on the mound and threw 80-83 mph fastballs, 70-74 mph curveballs with a nice break and 74-75 mph change-ups with life. All 3 pitches were good and he appears to compete just as hard on the hill as in the field.
