Michael Knox is a 2007 1B/3B/RHP/OF from Apex HS in Cary, NC with a 6'4", 210 lb. frame. Michael has a great build that is ideal for a number of positions. At the plate Michael does not get cheated at all. He shows plus raw power with some very good bat speed. He hits with a simple approach and a low hand set. Michael will probably need to slow his swing down a little to become a more consistent contact hitter. Michael showed solid actions around first base and this looks to be his position for the future. On the mound Michael has a short compact arm action from a high 3/4 arm slot. Michael has a balanced delivery and is able to produce a good downward plane on the ball. While he isn't very polished on the mound Micahel has a great deal of potential. Michael has the potential to be a two-way at a mid to high-level Division I School.
