Brian Kennedy is a 2008 MIF/OF from Medford HS, residing in Patchogue, New York, with a 5'9"/165 pound frame. Brian has a lean frame. He is a switch hitter with an open stance from the right side. Kennedy uses a small stride and a knee lift trigger to hit. He has a line drive swing plane and makes consistent contact. Brian has a slightly open stance from the left side with a line drive swing plane. He uses the whole field and had several hits in game action. Kennedy looks to be a better hitter from the right side right now. He has soft hands in the infield with solid footwork defensively. Brian has an accurate arm with a solid release at 80 mph. He needs to attack the ball more and mvoe through on his release.
