Chip Duncan is a 2006 RHP/1B from Riverwood High School in Atlanta, GA, with a 6'2'', 155 lb. frame. He has a tall and lean body with long limbs and room to grow. On the mound he throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with slinging arm action. Duncan has a busy motion with a loose and easy arm. His arm angle and delivery help produce running action on his fastball that topped out at 80 mph. He also mixes in a 65 mph breaking ball and a straight change up at 70 mph. Defensively he has soft hands around the first base bag and showed smooth fielding actions. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with a short stride from an open stance. Duncan has a line drive swing plane with good extension to his swing. He makes consistent contact.
