Matthew Winter is a 2007 catcher/outfielder with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Hubbard, Iowa, who attends Hubbard High School. Winter has an average frame with present strength in his body. Defensively he has a very accurate arm from behind the plate with pop times in the 2.00 range during the workout. Winter also showed solid arm strength. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a no stride approach and a rotational swing. There is strength in his swing with the potential to hit with some pop in the future. He showed athletic ability and ran a 6.89.
