Jacob Ezzell is a 5'11" 165 pound 2007 infielder from Durham, North Carolina who attends Riverside High School. He hit very well in the games with several hard base hits and a few balls that were hit very hard right at the defender. Jacob shows above average bat speed with some lift in his swing. He has some good raw power when he stays back and waits for his pitch. In the field, Ezzell has good hands and a solid glove. He has decent footwork a quick release allowing him to turn the double play very well. Jacob is a good prospect who was named to the Top Prospect game.
