Tyler Koronas is a 2009 middle infielder with a 5'5'', 135 lb. frame from Naples, Florida, who attends Naples High School. Koronas is a young (2009) player who is lean with an athletic look. Defensively he has a good glove showing soft and quick hands. He moves well in the middle of the diamond showing nice footwork. He has quick actions, and shows range to both sides. At the plate he is a switch hitter who stays inside the ball well making consistent contact to all fields. His contact approach helps him keep a short and compact path to the ball. Once he gets on the bases he shows the ability to run the bases well showing game instincts. He is an aggressive player that plays hard. There is a lot to project on, and he is a good student as well.

Tyler Koronas is a 2009 MIF with a 5'5'', 130 lb. frame from Naples FL, who attends Naples HS. He is very young with a small, lean frame that hasn't started to fill out yet. Koronas is a switch hitter who shows a solid, balanced hitting approach from both sides. In fact, the two PG scouts who graded out BP disagreed on which side Koronas was stronger from. He has a level swing both ways with good hip action that enables him to get the wood bat going despite his size and age. He took good swings in the games against good pitching. Defensively, Koronas showed good hands and a nice exchange and release. He tends to be a one position fielder at this point and his arm strength is still developing but those can improve with time. Koronas ran the 60 in 7.44. He is a good student.
