Kyle Gordon is a 2009 RHP/3B from Porter Ridge HS in Monroe, NC with a 5'10", 150 lb. frame. Kyle has a lean build with a lot of room to fill out. Kyle first made an impressive appearance at the WWBA 15-Under Championship this summer and looked impressive again at the showcase. On the mound Kyle throws from an OH arm slot with polished mechanics and solid command. He shows some heavy life on his fastball and there looks to be good upside on the mound. His curveball is a sharp 12 to 6 and he understands how to change speeds well. At the plate Kyle has a short and simple swing that produces solid middle of the field contact. Kyle is a young kid with a lot of potential on the mound. He should be a highest-level college prospect in a few years.
