James Jennnings is a 2008 1B/C from Broadneck HS in Annapolis, MD with a 6'1", 160 lb. frame. James has a lean build with room to fill out. At the plate James hits from an open stance and is able to turn on the ball well. He sometimes opens up too early and likes to lift the ball too much. Once he changes his approach some at the plate he will see a lot of improvement in his offensive ability. Behind the plate James shows solid raw catching tools but will need to work on his release some. James is a player that should attract the attention of many smaller colleges through the country.
