Will Maxwell is a 2009 OF/RHP that attends The Walker School and resides in Marietta, GA with a 6'2", 180 lb. frame. Will has a tall athletic build and did very well in the workout at the showcase. At the plate Will flashes solid bat speed with some gap to gap pop. Will is an aggressive hitter but needs to work on shortening up his swing some. When he gets his hands inside the ball more Will shows plenty of raw potential to hit at the next level. In the outfield Will has the tools to project at any position in the outfield. He circles the ball well and shows good speed and a good arm action. On the mound Will has a long arm action with a nice downhill plane. Will gets some nice run on his fastball, but needs to work on finishing center to the plate. He flashes a 12 to 6 curveball with solid command. Will is a strong student that will attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
