Tyler Brett is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Hebron, CT who attends Rham. Medium, athletic build with a nice projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on his feet and shows nice footwork, athletic actions with nice hands and a quick release on throws with strength that will continue to develop on throws. Also pitched, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot exclusively from the stretch. Gets on top of the ball well, generates sinking actions on fastball that topped at 79 mph. Showed a nice feel for an 11-5 curveball and mixed it well. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance, wide base, and a low quiet hand set. Upper body swing, small stride into contact, gets the barrel through the zone and shows a feel for the barrel head, creating contact to all fields. Good student.
