Kane Fairman is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Cedar Falls, IA who attends Cedar Falls HS. Slender young build, plenty of time and room to get stronger. 6.99 runner, moves very well for a catcher, accurate throws with a quick exchange and developing arm strength. Switch-hitter, much more advanced right handed at this point, good shift into contact right handed, stays balanced and short to the ball, good contact when pulling the ball. Tends to get off balance left handed with a long stride and uphill path to contact. Young player with the athleticism to keep improving in all areas. Very good student.
