Larry Flammia is a 2007 3B/MIF/P with a 6'0'', 175 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends St Anthony's HS. Larry has a nice athletic build with a little room to add some strength. He has a relaxed approach at the plate with good extension and can hit the ball to any part of the field. He tends to get jammed some and needs to make sure he is keeping his hands inside the ball. Larry has the range and arm strength to be a solid second or third baseman. Larry is a solid student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.

Larry Flammia is a 2007 3B/IF/P with a 6'1'', 175 lb. frame from Massapequa NY, who attends St Anthonys. Flammia has a taller body with a slender lean build. Flammia has good hands defensively with good quickness. He has good defensive actions and made some nice plays to the backhand in game. He has developing arm strength with good foot quickness. At the plate, Flammia starts with a narrow base and quiet approach in the box. He starts his swing with a short load and stride. Flammia looks to keep his hands inside the baseball and his bat stays in the zone. His head stays on the ball well and he has a nice fluid swing. He hits off his front foot a bit and has good bat speed. Flammia has present gap to gap pop and will hit for more power as he learns to hit with more leverage. Flammia is a very good student.
