Michael Santia is a 5'10" 160 pound 2006 infielder from Danville, California who attends Monte Vista High School. He has a medium frame with an athletic build and room to fill out still. During the workout, he ran a 7.78 60 and threw 76 across the infield. Michael is a good contact spray hitter who starts with an average base and likes to stand tall with high hands. He is a contact hitter with s compact swing who sprays the ball all over the field. He is an athletic kid with good actions and the ability to play the game at a fast tempo. He has some good bat speed as well. Michael has very good hands and feet in the infield allowing him to get to many balls. He is a very good student with a 4.3 gpa and a 2030 on his SAT.
