Nolan Burchill is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Lincoln HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well but doesn't create angle to the plate at present. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, has good arm quickness for his age, good arm side running action at times, velocity projects well with additional strength and physical maturity. Soft curveball with short 11/5 shape, tends to drop elbow on curveball. Right handed hitter, low hand start, moves into contact well, line drive swing plane and handles the barrel well, makes contact and sprays the ball around the field. Showed his arm strength well in infield and outfield drills. Good student.
