Tyler Godes is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Rosemount, MN who attends Eagan HS. Medium athletic build, young look. Big side step delivery, rotational delivery, medium length arm action, keeps hands over his head, mid 3/4's arm slot, comes over the ball at release. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, early sinking and running action due to release point, will occasionally have cutting action when glove side, keeps ball down in the zone and throws strikes, makes hitters swing the bat. Developing change up, tends to slow arm on change, did not throw a breaking ball, primary fastball pitcher. Right handed hitter, square stance, long stride into contact, ends up wide at contact, swings hard with line drive swing plane but tends to get off balance. Good student.
