Carrick Tuck is a 2006 right handed pitcher with a 6'1" 175 pound frame from Gainesville, Florida who attends PK Yonge High School. He has a large strong frame with good flexability. Carrick pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and gets good action on his pitches. He is very smooth with solid mechanics. He pitches inside very well and keeps hitters off balance. His fastball had good run and sink at 84-86 mph. His fastball was also very heavy and allowed him to get ground ball after ground ball. Tuck also threw a curveball at 75 mph that had good depth and tight 12-6 rotation. He pitched very well and struck out 3 batters and got 3 weak ground balls in his two innings of work. Carrick is a promising young pitcher who gets hitters out.

Carrick Tuck is a 6' 168 pound 2006 right handed pitcher from Cedar Key, Florida who attends PK Yonge High School. He has a medium frame with a lean athletic build. Carrick pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long clean arm action. He has a loose arm that works very well. His delivery is upright and online and he repeats it very well. Tuck's has good arm speed which he shows on his fastball that tops out at 86 mph and has good arm side life on it. His slider is very sharp at 73 mph with good depth and movement on two planes. His change up at 79 mph has very good action to it as well. Carrick is a top level pitching prospect with very good potential at the next level who is also a very good student.
