Connor Bernatz is a 2007 right hand hitting outfielder from Mater Dai HS, residing in Newport Beach, CA. Bernatz has an athletic, long, lithe build on a thin 6'2" 170 lb. frame that is still developing and has plenty of room to fill out. Though he did not have the best results at PG National, Bernatz looks like a player that is going to hit, particularly when he starts to develop more physicality. He has a swing with balance and a very nice hand path that consistently stays inside the ball. His hands work quite well in his swing that is free, easy, and quite lively. Bernatz also has a quiet approach and does not force anything at the plate. As he gains strength in the coming years, Bernatz will start to gain a lot of attention as a hitter. He has a chance to develop near average power and to hit for average. In the outfield Bernatz showed that he has a strong arm that carries well. He approaches the ball well and runs good routes. Bernatz is an athletic outfielder that will continue to get better and better the more he plays. He ran 4.30 home/1st with a 6.84 60 yard time that actually may get a bit better with lower body strength gains. Bernatz is a projectable talent. He is a D1 caliber athlete and has a chance to develop into a very good professional prospect in the coming years.

Conner Bernatz is a 6'2" 160 pound 2007 outfielder and middle infielder from Newport Beach, California who attends Mater Dei High School. He has a tall slender frame that is lean and athletic with room to get stronger. Conner has good speed and quickness with he demonstrated by running a 7.0 60 and a 4.53 to first base. He shows very sure and quick hands in the field and is very balanced taking ground balls. He makes strong accurate throws with good arm strength which he showed by throwing 79 from the outfield. He covers good ground in the outfield with good jumps and routes on fly balls. He has the speed to play center field and is quick and agile enough to play the middle infield.At the plate, he has a slightly open stance with an average base and has a very easy swing. Bernatz has good bat speed and good present strength that will improve as well. Connor has a good upside and should be an impact player at the next level. He has excellent grades as well with a 3.8 gpa.

Bernatz is a 6'2" 160 pound 2007 outfielder and middle infielder from Newport Beach, California. He attends Mater Dei High School. Connor has a lean body and is very wiry with decent strength in his body. He definitely has soom room to grow into his body. At the plate, he starts with an open stance and has a quiet approach. He has quick hands and shows some power with his compact swing. Bernatz showed this in the game with a compact swing that produced a double that one hopped the left centerfield fence and a triple down the right field line. Connor has a decent arm, throwing 81 from the outfield. He also has decent speed running a 7.1 in the 60. He is also a good student.
