Ronald Pellegrino, Jr is a 2015 1B/OF with a 5-10 210 lb. frame from Downingtown, PA who attends Downingtown East Campus. Medium frame with a strong present build. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball well out front, gets on top of throws across from a short arm action, accurate with developing arm strength. Needs to stay low on throws across. Left-handed batter, starts upright with a slightly open base with a high hand set. Strong upper half swing, short and quick to the pitch, ball jumps off the barrel with average contact. Keeps hands in, stays balanced through swing well, line drive swing plane and gets the barrel though the zone well. Very good student.
