Frank Pyle is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Rising Sun, MD who attends Rising Sun. Athletic frame with a lean build and projects well with added strength. Runs well, posted a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, stays low through fielding the ball, short arm action on accurate throws across. Longer release, shows arm strength which will continue to develop. Right-handed batter, starts with hands pulled back. Uses a simple swing, gets barrel through the zone with some lift in swing. Uses lower half well in swing with a good feel for the barrel and line drive contact to the middle of the field. Shows pop off the barrel. Very good student.
